Whoa, I think you totally missed it at Monterey Bay Seafood where you gave it a 6 for fried artichokes or something. This stand is KNOWN for its calamari. Top quality anywhere. I've been getting the calamari for like 15 years except the one year they had to re-do their processing plant or something. I also get the Aussie battered potatoes every year since they are awesome. The aussie lady actually lives at Carlsbad, but goes to a few fairs each year.
Oh man, OK, I am going back to the fair just to try the calamari!
